ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Michele Wong McSween is a former fashion designer, mom, author and founder of Gordon & Li Li.  As a fourth-generation Chinese-American, Michele grew up without the gift of speaking Chinese or a strong connection to her heritage. But, becoming a parent inspired a passion to bridge that gap for her children. Frustrated by a lack of bilingual resources for multicultural families like hers, Michele created Gordon & Li Li—an easy and fun way to introduce children and families to the Mandarin language and Chinese culture
