ABOUT OHYUNG
OHYUNG (she/they) is the solo project of film composer and experimental musician Lia Ouyang Rusli. Drawing on ambient soundscapes, harsh noise and euphoric pop, OHYUNG brings together disparate sounds and influences in their music. Her most recent record You Are Always On My Mind was released on March 28th, and was described by Pitchfork as "Strains of the New York noise, rap, and ambient scenes alchemized into an extraordinary burst of pop." As a film composer, she recently scored the A24 film Problemista as well as HBO’s Fantasmas in collaboration with Julio Torres.

Year of the Tiger Records is a record store pop-up specializing in rare, used and new vinyl by artists from Asia, the Pacific, and the diaspora. Our catalog is curated with the intention of creating access to, celebrating, and inspiring these rich musical heritages of past, present, and future.
